Hello friends! I'm still testing out my personal ActivityPub server - and I need *your* help 🙂

If you click this link → @example

Do you see the user's account or a page of JSON code?

If you do see the code, could you please let me know which platform / app you're using?

THANKS GANG!

The official Mastodon Android app shows me the account. Neat to see this working!

Something else.

I get a new browser window and am asked if I want to download "example.bin".

This is browsing mstdn.party via Firefox 122.1.0 on Android 14.

I get a "try original site" error (this is a generic issue with Elk).
If I remove "@mastodon.social" from the URL, it works.
Elk 0.11.0 on Firefox latest, Mac.

I see a bunch of code. Using a Safari browser on Mac OS.

I have tested it with the Moshidon client, with Fedilab and with Phanpy, with ok results. I have tried it with the Subway Tooter client and it opens the browser and asks me to download the example.bin file (see image).

I got JSON earlier today and now get the account - from a third-party mastodon app (icecubes).

I got the JSON, and I'm using Mastodon on a laptop via Firefox (122.0.1) on a Mac running Sonoma 14.2.1

Tusky on android works fine, probably not the first to report this

Chose the JSON option in the poll. Using Chrome 121.0.616 on Windows 11 latest shipping version.

it's OK in pachli, but if I open it in Firefox focus it asks me where to save "example.bin"
